Dr. Mohammad Masud Karim was born in Dhalai Union of Hathazari Upazilla in Chittagong District. After completion of his primary he was admitted in Katir Hat High School where he was first boy and completed is SSC in 1986. Then he admitted Hajji Mohammad Mohsin Government College, Chittagong from where he completed his HSC in 1988 with distinction. He admitted in Rangpur Medical College. He stood 6th (6th stand) in first professional examination, 1st (1st stand) in second professional examination and 1st (1st stand) in third/final professional examination under Rajshahi University. He was academically awarded as ‘Gold Medalist’ by same university.
